Corporate Citizenship

Based on the strategic vision of our nonprofit partner, Urban Ed, Inc., the "Enterprises" is a true demonstration of what corporate and nonprofit can do to change the face of distraught areas in a city.

We are committed to helping low-income minorities, particularly our youth, excel in the field of technology and provide ample opportunities for them to learn the trade. Through internships and apprentices, we are giving the light experienced a chance to see how the world of IT actually works.

Urban Ed Enterprises knows that healthy communities mean a healthy economy and we've made it our business to operate directly from within troubled neighborhoods in the District. Our goal is to work with organizations like Urban Ed to help teen and college-age youth of color find a means to excel and gain life-long employable skills. With high truancy rates, un- and under-employment, poverty, crime and low education plaguing neighborhoods east of the river, we're doing our part to stimulate the economic well being of those in need as well as the economic base of entire neighborhoods in need.
